Through the project,
Everyday objects are turned into TANGIBLE interactive interfaces.
This project examines how programmable origami mechanisms can serve as customizable actuators for daily interaction. Building on the geometric principles of the Kresling pattern, the system enables precise and repeatable shape change through programmable actuation. When multiple units are arranged as a matrix, the actuator transitions from a single module into a transformable surface capable of dynamic morphing, tactile information display, and context-adaptive lighting.
